2002 KKNFA Reunion
The Association Reunions are typically scheduled for various locations around the country where Knowles ancestors were located in the 18th or 19th centuries. Locations for the Reunions are also selected for ease of access, proximity to research facilities, and/or the convenient availability of recreation areas and sightseeing.
The 2002 Reunion was held in Athens, Georgia. Athens is in north central Georgia near Greene, Hancock and Oglethorpe counties, where a number of the "Old Silverhead" Knowles and other Knowles families settled in the later part of the 18th century.

Thursday June 6th
- Board Meetings & Set-up
Friday June 7th
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM: Members & Guests may meet
individually with Association Historian to discuss Knowles family genealogies
- 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM: Informal gathering of Members & Guests in the Holiday Inn pool complex - Open House style - Pre-registration available<
Saturday June 8th
- 8:00 AM to Noon: Association Business Meeting
- 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM: Genealogical & Family History Presentations & Discussions
