Joseph "Randy" Knowles, 34, died Saturday morning (April 22, 2006) at his residence in Manor following an extended illness. He was a native of Blackshear but had resided most of his life in Waycross. He was a truck driver for B&M Wood Products.
Survivors include his wife, Nicole Knowles, of Manor; one daughter, Destiny Knowles; one son, Chase Knowles, both of Manor; his parents, Gene and Elizabeth Knowles, of Waycross; one brother, William Knowles (wife Melissa), of Waycross; his grandmother, Beulah Jeffords, of Waycross; and special friends, Jay Crews, Bill Miller, David Wasdin and Harley Wagstaff, all of Waycross.
A funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 8. Today is the day we must say goodbye to a friend we love. Even though it hurts, we must not cry for this is what he wants. Seeing him later is what we need to keep in mind, we'll be together in due time. We all must go it's sad to say, but it will happen one day. Leaving is not forever just for a short while, not to long before we see his devilish smile.
