The tables
below identify
the prices for all of the genetic tests currently offered by FTDNA. More
tests could be added at a later date. The Y-chromosome tests are the
primary tests used by the
Surname DNA Projects, but some participants may desire to seek additional
ancestral information via the mtDNA tests. Both Y-chromosome and and mtDNA
test are used for the Regional DNA Projects.
The
following DNA test price tables are provided here for your convenience to
provide you with a perspective of the relative costs of the various tests and
the benefits of obtaining project group rates. The
Knowles/Knoles/Noles Association cannot guarantee these prices. Your actual
price will be as set by
FTDNA at the time you
place an order for a test.

NOTE: The pricing shown for the Y-DNA-12, Y-DNA-25, Y-DNA-37
and Y-DNA-67 tests do not include the $4 postage and handling charge.
* The Y-DNA Refine
12 to 25, 12 to 37 and 12 to 67 tests the additional markers
for those who have originally tested 12 markers. Therefore, this test
cannot be ordered as a standalone test.
** The Y-DNA Refine
25 to 37 or 25 to 67 tests the additional markers for those who have originally
tested for 25 markers. Therefore, this
test cannot be ordered as a standalone test.
*** The Y-DNA Refine
37 to 67 tests the additional 30 markers for those who have originally
tested for 37 markers. Therefore, this test
cannot be ordered as a standalone test.
